5-Axis Multi-Tasking Machine Produces Parts Up to Nearly 10,000lbs

Ibarmia's high-performance THR 12P Multi-Process machine has been designed for getting the maximum productivity in metro wheels maintenance.

This 5-axis machining center integrates a rotopallet system for a quick change of two pallets and a turning capacity that allows the manufacture of parts up to ø1250 mm, 1600 mm tall and 4,500 kg (9,920 lbs) in only one set up.

This THR 12P Multi-Tasking machine combines an A-axis continuous tilting head with a powerful electro-spindle of up to 84 kW, 452 Nm and 12.000 rpm. The machine comes with a high dynamic rotary table for vertical turning operations on parts up to 2250 kg at 500 rpm.

IBARMIA can provide two types of spindle heads to adapt the machine to specific jobs. A wide range of options allow tailoring solutions to each requirement.
